29 Seated bulul from Banaue region, 70 cm high, with knees pulled up and holding cups (for rice wine?) in each hand on top of his knees, an unusual posture. With antique patina of encrusted sacrificial blood, carved of a heavy wood, but rotten in center core at the base. Said to be from Amganad barangay near Banaue in Ifugao province and made circa1920-1950.
